The Subramanyar temple here is an ancient one, with a history that goes back for about 8 centuries. There is another story with the Origin of name, "Porul Aatchi" (தமிழ்: பொருள் ஆட்சி), which means "The land of wealthy Government". Its said that everything is sold/bought in the market(including elephants) except ones parents, in the olden days. In present day, it is a Picturesque town with almost all kinda natural resources like forest, wildlife sanctuary, National parks, Dams within the town and it is picture perfect and worth visiting. It all started way back in the 1960s when Krishna Rao proposed for the first drive-in restaurant in India. And so it was opened on April 15, 1962, and became a runaway success. It remained as a popular destination in this city where restaurants have mushroomed. Unfortunately it was forced to close on April 11,2008 but the gates were reopened on April 13 and locked again the same night once for all. what am i referring to..? 6) Identify the logo..?
